However Sir Keegan was troubled by the mass breakout and saw it as a turning point in what is to come. The cure was he hand was chopped of by a Goblin King, but not until he had handed over everything he owned. Including his piece of the Pearl Staff. The leader of a group of long dead adventurers, including Sir Terris and Mendara the Mystic, that came to Thok’s Quarry to stop the defiling of the Bahamut temple that had sprung up here by worshippers of Baphumet, they had attempted access to the inner sanctum but had died in the process. Valdrog the Brute is a male human who has a thick, black beard and is clad in chainmail. His spectral armour is ripped apart. Valdrog was a cleric of Bahamut, and he talked with a booming voice. Valdrog tells the party he has valuable information that will help the adventurers with reaching the inner sanctum, but he will only offer it if they can prove that they are heroic and honourable warriors here for good and proper reasons. They must show they have the strengths to succeed and the morals to do the right thing. The LADP only partially convince Valdrog’s group. Valdrog and his friends disappear soon after giving out their information.

He has been in the inner sanctum for 40 years reading and researching. Until recently he had been on his own, but a before the LADP arrived he was approached by some people asking for his pearly staff piece, in a very threatening manner. He handed the staff piece over, as he didn’t want to die. He tells the group that these people have gone to Tywynal, the ruined city beyond the Thok’s Wall and are in search of Zoltar’s Phylactery. He urges the party to follow them, re-capture the staff, take Zoltar’s Phylactery and return it to Mala’keth. Currently the Phylactery’s power stops him from finding Zoltar. He explains he has the power to destroy the Phylactery and once that is done he can use the book he has in his hands to locate Zoltar. The party tell him to meet them in Crater Hill in seven days time, once they have retrieved the staff and Phylactery. This is actually what the adventurers deciphered from the babble spoken by an obviously overly excited and insane Mala’keth. He referred to the Phylactery as the ‘Fart Factory’ and refered to the people who had taken the staff pieces as ‘Wednesday’, the book he is holding and keeps referring to contains blank pages and some badly drawn pictures of Mala’keth and he keeps talking about how fat he can make himself, amongst many other things. Mala’keth accompanied the LADP to Locombe’s Ford were he knocked up a few magic items for them and stayed in the Horse and Groom inn until they returned from the ruined city of Tywynel.
